kōno is a flexible and customizable productivity system that improves your focus and transforms the quality of your work. With kōno, you structure your workday in modes that represent the different batches of tasks you need to complete, such as design tasks, communication tasks, planning tasks, etc. kōno manages your distractions by turning off notifications, closing apps, and blocking distracting websites. It also prepares you instantly for upcoming work by opening all the tools you need automatically.

About this project

Over an 8-month duration, our team provided continuous support to NEO66 team in developing their native MacOS application. Our collaboration started with the initial version of the tool, crafted by the internal team. Throughout our engagement, we developed a design style guide to maintain consistency in the product's evolution. Working closely with the product owner, we systematically refined each product feature, ensuring a gradual and comprehensive enhancement.

Several noteworthy contributions during our collaboration include:

  • Design Styleguide Enhancement: We meticulously reviewed the project's existing state and elevated the style guide to facilitate scalable growth. This involved the creation of components and the definition of brand colors and UI elements.
  • Onboarding and Registration Optimization: We optimized the onboarding and registration processes within the product, refining user flows to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Dashboard Redesign: A significant milestone involved the complete redesign of the dashboard, presenting all relevant user data in a simple and comprehensible manner.
